Privacy policy
Dot Dot Dot works on your phone. It has no analytics, no advertising, no crash reporting and no tracking. Two optional features use the internet, and both are off until you switch them on.
Who is responsible
Dot Dot Dot (Android package dev.dotdotdot.app) is made by SNPRGOD. Questions and requests: support@snprgod.com.
What stays on your phone
The features below read information only after you switch them on and grant the permission. It is used on the device to decide what to show on the Glyph Matrix. It is not uploaded, shared or sold, and it is not available to SNPRGOD.
- Notifications (notification access): the app, title and text of incoming notifications, to run the flows and indicators you set up. A short log of recent matches is kept on the phone so you can see why a flow ran.
- Contacts: names and numbers, to match a notification to a person you chose in a flow.
- Calendar: the time of your next event, for the calendar countdown.
- Microphone (record audio): the sound level of what the phone is playing, for the music visualiser. Nothing is recorded or stored.
- Camera: live frames, turned into a glyph in memory. A frame is kept only if you capture it.
- Photos and videos: only the items you pick in the system photo picker. The app has no access to the rest of your gallery.
- Health Connect: today's step count, read-only, to show it on the matrix. It is never stored by the app, never leaves the phone, and is not used for anything else.
- Your designs, settings, flows and stories are stored in the app's private storage.
What leaves your phone
Weather (optional, off by default)
If you switch on the weather indicator, the app sends your approximate location, rounded to about one kilometre, to Open-Meteo to fetch the forecast. Like any web request, this exposes your IP address to them. No account or identifier is sent. The location comes from Android's last known coarse position; GPS is never started.
Community (optional, off by default)
The community makes no network request until you turn it on. It is hosted on Supabase, which stores the data below on our behalf.
- Browsing and downloading need no account. Supabase sees your IP address, as any web server does.
- An account is an email address and a username you choose. The email is used only to send sign-in links and is never shown to other people.
- What you publish: the design, story or flow, with its title, description and tags, shown publicly under your username. Before a flow is uploaded, contacts and conversation names are removed from it.
- What you do: your likes, follows, blocks and reports.
Nothing else is uploaded: not your library, gallery, notifications, contacts, calendar or health data.
Sharing
We do not sell personal information or share it for advertising. It is processed only by the providers named above, to run the features you switched on, and disclosed otherwise only if the law requires it.
Keeping and deleting
- Everything on your phone is removed when you clear the app's data or uninstall it.
- Delete a community post from its page in the app, at any time.
- Delete your account in the app (Community, account icon, Delete my account) or on the account page of this site, without the app. This removes the account, your email address, everything you published, and your likes, follows, blocks and reports, immediately and permanently.
- Turning the community off in the app signs you out and stops all community network use.
Security
All connections use HTTPS. Access to community data is restricted in the database itself, so one account cannot read or change another's private data.
Children
Dot Dot Dot is not directed at children under 13, and the community is not for anyone under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, write to us and it will be removed.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the personal information held about your account, or for it to be corrected or deleted, by writing to support@snprgod.com.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version is published here with a new date. A change that affects how your information is used is also announced in the app.
